About the Farm
Hoverfly Flower Farm is a one person farmer-florist operation in the city of Portland, OR. Located at Cully Neighborhood Farm, where vegetables are the main show and managed by Josh Volk of Slow Hand Farm, Sarah grows on a small plot dedicated to flowers.
Sarah has been nurturing beauty from seed to vase in Portland since 2018. She is committed to using practices that are kind to the earth and its creatures, and likes to say that the flowers grow her, offering their lives generously as a forgiving and rich medium.
Hoverfly Flower Farm primarily uses a Community Supported Agriculture model (CSA), offering weekly and biweekly bouquet subscriptions mid-May through mid-September. Her flowers are also seasonally available at Cully Neighborhood Farm's farm stand.
